If you're like me, when you were watching the basketball games last week, you noticed LSU coach John Brady's wife. They showed her several times in the audience and I'm sure I wasn't the only one surprised to see that this man (look over there -->) has such a cute wife.
It was only later that I found out her maiden name, Misty Champagne.
Yes, Misty Champagne. Hmmm, where do you think he made her acquaintance? Think maybe he was at a coaches' convention with Mike Price?
Assuming that's her actual given name, who the hell names their child Misty Champagne? Remember what Chris Rock said about raising girls? Your number one priority is to keep them off the pole. When you go with Misty Champagne as a name, you've pretty much limited her career options. Ever meet a lawyer named Misty? How many members of Phi Beta Kappa are named Misty?
Oh, and you won't be surprised that she makes her living with her body (more or less). She's a personal trainer and occasional model.
Can you imagine telling your mom about her for the first time? "Hey mom, I met this great girl. I think she's the one!"
"Oh really, dear? That's wonderful. What's her name?"
"Misty!"
"Oh"
"Misty Champagne!"
... dead silence ...

She's a little more impressive than Jimmy B's wife. Personal trainer .... er uh yeah. I guess the fire pole is part of the exercise equipment.
Can't begrudge the man though. When you can explain how Jimmy B. got his wife, I'll understand Brady's situation.

Her maiden name is NOT Champagne...to set the record straight. And she has never been a stripper...to set the record straight. I think that you have to keep in mind that these people have families and the families are affected by the crap that you write about the people that they love. Who are you to write things that you have no idea about?? Where do you get off?? Have YOU ever seen her in a strip club..working..and using her real name?!! I think not. If you really knew anything about her, you would know better.

Of course I don't know her. I do know that I've read that her name is Misty Champagne in many different newspapers and this website (a company she apparently works for) - http://www.mackieshilstone.com/pep/prog_umpire.html.
Maybe they are all wrong or lying. So is Misty Champagne just her professional name? Is that any better?

She has in fact been a stripper before. That's how John Brady met her. I'm tired of people trying to sweep this under the rug.
It's a french name that is very common in South Louisiana. It's actually pronounced Shom-pon, not Sham-paine.

Well, "shom pon" is more or less the French pronunciation of the word champagne. Regardless, it's still a funny name whether she was a stripper or not. Somewhere out there there has to be a stripper or porn star named Misty Champagne. Or there should be.
We know Misty very well...the way we met her was in the gym. she would come in leave with a married man, the whole time her husband would be calling and checking on her. His name was Roger Champagne, also a personal trainer. She slept around a lot, left her husband after he got her the BOOB JOB, has slept with many a married man, broke up my best friends marriage, the whole time, pretending to be her good friend. Her family is pretty nice, but she is a slut, gold digger and only out what's good for her. If you don't believe me, go to any gym in New Orleans, Kenner and Metairie with her picture and ask what they know..they will only know whom she was after or slept with, I guarantee you...but wait and see...all truth comes out...I hope there's not a large life insurance policy on him for his sake, because she and Lenny Bollingham will take care of him...or I hope he signed a pre nup. because if not, he will be very broke very soon. I just found out about this, called all my guy and girl friends that know her, and they all said ``He's in serious trouble!'
Well, the life insurance thing with Lenny is a bit over the top, now that I think of it, but all the rest of it I saw with my own eyes, and I don't even want to tell you some of the conversations I and others close to me had with her. All I'm saying is the old Misty I know, not a good person...I wish I could say something nice, but after spending time with her, it's just now there.
You guys are idiots. I live in South Louisiana and have the majority of my life. We mispronounce a ton of things around here, but alcoholic beverages are NOT one of those things. Champagne is "sham-pain" no matter where you're from.
First, Misty was NEVER a stripper. I've personally known Misty for over 7 years, I never knew her to date a married man. She & Roger did not break up over her having an affair- they remain very good friends to this very day. Their marriage is none of your business. Roger did not sign up for this- you should completely leave him out. Misty's pre nup or lack of one there of is none of your business. If you think by personally slandering someone you are doing a public service you are sadly (yes, the sad little person you are) mistaken. And I have to wonder how much of this SLANDER is actually being put out there by a jealous former EX-wife. Let's take a look at the former Ms Brady's escapades-

Every now and then someone posts a new comment to this article and it always cracks me up.
Dick Vitale should shill a list of Hot Wives of Coaches on his website and pimp it whenever Syracuse or LSU play and the camera pans to Mrs. Boeheim and Misty.
Im getting season tickets now to Arkansas State games, got to see this MILF. She may divorce Brady after she moves to Jonesboro, big difference in that and Baton rouge
