Hodge For Blake
Just a week or so ago, Julius Hodge finally made it back to the NBA, getting some run with the depleted Nuggets. But now that their stars are about to come off of suspension, Les Nuggets felt like they needed to deal with their chemistry. There are only so many shots to be had, so Liliputian gunner Earl Boyken was shipped off to the Milwaukee Bucks for point guard Steve Blake. Hodge was tossed into the deal as well for some unknown reason. If Hodge and Blake cross paths in the airport, think Hodge will throw a forearm Stevie's way just for oldtime's sake?
BTW, I'd tried several times over the past year or so to track down Blake's infamous college paper about Johnny Rockets ("Johnny Rockets, a restaurant that brings people happiness."). Evidently the pages have been taken down from Maryland's servers, but god bless the Internet Archive!
And Byron Mouton's page is here. ("Before televisions, there were only radios. People could just listen and would not see a picture of the information. Television allows communication to be seen and heard.")
As for general literacy ability, I'm not gonna dump on Blake or Mouton for turning something in because unlike other folk, at least they wrote it and turned it in. Unlike some other favorite Blog hosting folks who go all silent during a crucial ACC / National sporting events? Ummmmmm.... what could I be talking about? Well, you were all good during the fall to remember the Deacons as your "favorite team", but they had a heck of an Orange Bowl, and you should have had the whole blogs colors change to black and gold for the month, but no... nothing but crickets chirpping over here. And Florida handing OSU various parts of their anatomy? Did you see it? Any thoughts?
How about major coaching turn-over in the ACC following the season? Any final thoughts? Looking ahead?
Well shoot, let's remember that this blog is a frog and hops around a bit (well amphibious, anyway) so let's jump over to basketball. Where we see... once ... a ... month... reviews? And what about Clemson? Are they for real? Some others seem to think so...
Oh well, you're probably busy getting it done with the BrightCar stuff. Which I would have tried, after having to replace both car's serpentine belts and other crap the weeks before Christmas and thinking, "I really need some way to remember that I'm doing this type of stuff to my car" but then I wrecked the one with the most work done on I-40 listening to an ACC basketball game. Figures. Done in by cars. Sound familiar?
Anyone got a good mini-van for sale? I prefer black and gold colors.
And yes, my wife would love to get rid of her gold van. Oh, you said "good" van. Well, I can't help you there.
